When debating between the best, you half to nitpick to sparse out the small differences. Defense is half the game and none of you would concede that Jordan was consistently a little better. To answer your question as to why Lebron James is being held to such a high standard - it's because he proclaimed himself many things, amongst them being: (1) The Chosen One; (2) The King (3) self-proclamed GOAT. On top of that, when he joined Miami, he said they'll win not 1, not 2, not 3, but 7 titles if i remember correctly. Now if that does make people hold him to higher standards, i don't know what will.
